Hey there guys, Rylock here. As you probably already know, the Neural Sensor is a farmable resource. It was added to Warframe in 2013 in Update 6 and can be found on Earth, specifically within the Oro Caves tile set.

There are 4 different types of Neural Sensors that yield different amounts when scanned e.

The Neural Sensor a resource you can get from a specific node in a specific planet. Warframe uses this to craft some equipment and consumables so if you want to farm it, well, I hope this guide helps you out.

Elara and Sinai, Jupiter are effective locations to gather Neural Sensors. Another place that is effective to farm is Themisto, Jupiter (assassination of Alad V). Taveuni in the Kuva Fortress is also an effective place to farm them.

1. What is an RNG?

RNG stands for Random Number Generator. The Neural Sensor is a random chance to be dropped from a specific node in the map, but the percentage of getting it depends on how rare that item is. You can check that information here .

2. Which planet has the best Neural Sensor Farming?

My own experience points at Venus because I always get one of these items in an average mission. There are reports that some other places have more percentage to drop this item, but I can't confirm it myself.

3. Which node drops Neural Sensors?

Neural Sensor nodes are Security nodes so they're usually guarded by Corpus or Grineer units, and the higher the level (which means quality), the higher will be the level of security units that are guarding it.

4. Konzu Farming Method (Credits to /u/jesse1421)

Now, this is by far my favorite method because I don't like doing endless missions and what you need for this method is very easy to get: - Get to the Plains of Eidolon and do a bounty (8 minutes). - After that, go to Cetus and do another bounty (8 minutes). - If you don't get at least one Neural Sensor from those two bounties, repeat them until it drops.

If you use the right priority when talking to Konzu, there's a chance you won't have to pay for the bounty.

5. Simaris Farming Method (Credits to /u/kikimoore)

This method is very efficient, but I haven't tried it myself! Here's what you need to do: - Get a squad of four members with the Arcane Nullifier Sentinel suit equipped with the Focus ability set to eliminate. - Get to the missions where Simaris is looking for his target, and let him give you this quest.

After that, go through all the map until you get to another room with a console in it (it's marked on your minimap). - Let one member of your squad stay at that console while everyone else goes to Simaris and starts the fight. Once that happens, have your member at the console start hacking the target from a distance without getting detected .

6. Withdrawal Method (Corpus)

This is the method I use when I want to get some Neural Sensors fast, and what you need for it are: - A good Archwing gun with high damage per shot - An Archwing that can travel through Corpus air shield while staying inside of them - The mod Transmutation (to get Neural Sensors from the Corrupted enemy faction) - A bunch of Infested enemies to call the local bad guys for you, and get them all enraged.
